04 — COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you choose a build

Do I need planning permission?

Usually not: garden buildings under 2.5 m to the eaves are normally permitted development in England and Wales. Corner plots, listed settings and flats differ — check your own case with the council.

Electric or wood-fired — how do I choose?

Electric heats on a timer and needs a dedicated supply installed by a competent electrician. Wood-fired needs no mains connection but does need a flue and, in Smoke Control Areas, a postcode check. The cabin itself is the same.

Is the heater really included?

Yes. The electric build is priced with its Harvia PC70; the wood-fired build with its stove and flue kit. There is no separate heater line at checkout.

What does delivery look like?

One crate on a pallet, delivered kerbside to UK mainland addresses, typically 2 to 4 weeks from order. The crate is photographed before dispatch.

Can I see exactly what is in the crate?

Yes — each product page lists every part from the factory assembly manual, down to the fixings, plus what stays your job on site.
