Read those numbers as a single object. A 2.4 m crate will not turn a tight side passage, and 690 kg will not be carried by four willing neighbours. Both facts are easier to solve a fortnight ahead than on delivery day.
The access questions that decide everything
Answer these before you order, ideally with a tape measure in hand:
- Can an articulated or rigid lorry reach your address, and is there anywhere legal for it to stop?
- Is there overhead clearance for the vehicle: trees, cables, a low bridge on the approach?

Preparing the site before the lorry books in
The base needs to exist, be level and be cured before delivery, because a crate parked on a driveway for three weeks while concrete goes off is nobody's idea of a good start. The cabin covers 1.85 × 2.20 m; the base should be at least that, level across its whole surface, and free-draining. Leave working room on every side: you will be lifting wall panels into place and want somewhere to stand. Assembly: what the job actually is
The Cabin Three takes eight to twelve hours for two or three people, working from the supplied instructions. The tool list is short: a TORX T25 bit, a PZ2 bit, an 8 mm spanner and a drill. Nothing specialist, nothing hired. Most owners split it across a weekend rather than pushing through in one day, which also gives you an evening to check that everything expected came out of the crate.
If you would rather not build it, a local joiner or a garden building fitter will take the job on. Get the quote before delivery, since they will want the same access answers you gathered above. Assembly is not part of our price, and we would rather say that plainly than let it appear as a surprise.
Who supplies what
- In the crate: the cabin components, the fittings, and the heater for the electric version.
- Fitted at the factory or during assembly: the optional finishes and the lighting kit, if you chose them at checkout.
- Yours to arrange: the base, the electrician, exterior treatment, and any accessories you want beyond what the configuration includes.

Is delivery included in the price?
Delivery to the UK mainland is included. Island and Highland postcodes carry the surcharges in the table above, priced at checkout before you pay. The Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and BFPO addresses are outside the service.
Will the driver put the sauna in my garden?
Not as part of the delivery. The crate is offloaded at an agreed point at your address, and moving it from there to the base is your side of the job. Plan the route and the equipment in advance, because 690 kg does not improvise.
Do I need a crane or a forklift?
Most addresses need neither, but it depends entirely on your drop point and the ground between it and the base. Where the route is long, narrow, soft or uphill, a hired pallet truck or a couple of hours of local plant hire is the usual answer.
How long does assembly take?
